This class will start at 4:00PM on Saturday March 29, 2025 in person, at our facility located at 197 Huntingdon Ave, Waterbury CT 06708. BYOB is allowed & encouraged.
Join Chef Laura as she shows you how to create Authentic Italian style breads and turn simple, fresh, and locally grown ingredients into hearty & wholesome soups. Nothing beats a warm fresh bread & hearty soup! She will demonstrate techniques and tips for 2 easy & hearty soups, ideal for dunking the fresh made breads. Chef Laura shares her secrets for super easy and delicious homemade Italian style breads, crispy outside and soft and airy center- perfect for snacking and dunking in sauces or soups. Her traditional Northern Italian style bread will be your new favorite thing to make. This class focuses on the fundamental of good hearty bread making and shows the importance of strong flours, kneading technique, and the methods for flavoring and seasoning the breads. Chef Laura will have finished breads ready to taste, and class attendees get to make, bake, and take home fresh made bread.
Class includes recipes & instructions for all preparations discussed and demonstrated in the class. Classes are fun and educational. Bring your aprons and your appetite's, the classes are full of great things to sample and taste during the event, both the items made in the class and several other tasting items from products available in the store will be available to sample during the class.
