SWEET DRY SAUSAGE – Abruzzese means from Abruzzo, the region along the eastern-central coast of Italy for which this sausage is named. This sausage is blended with garlic, sweet peppers, fennel seeds, and other local spices before being stuffed into casing and cured. Abruzzese sausage makes an excellent addition to an antipasto platter, in salads, or paired with aged cheeses like Parmesan, on crackers and bread slices.
