This class is a private group class organized for the CT Valley Chapter BMWCCA, by David Mucciacciaro. If you are not part of this group, please visit our regular class tickets page to purchase tickets for our classes that are open to the public. Class participants will learn how to make Hand-rolled Cavatelli Pasta & Gourmet Pasta Sauces.

This class will start at 4:00PM on December 14th 2024, in person, at our facility located at 197 Huntingdon Ave, Waterbury CT 06708. BYOB is allowed & encouraged. Red wine pairs best with the Cavatelli & Sauces made in this class. 

Cavatelli Pasta is a traditional southern Italian hand rolled pasta, using our custom blend of pasta flour, fresh made ricotta, olive oil, and eggs. The class will learn how to make fresh ricotta for the pasta and then will break out into stations to make the pasta dough, and to each roll their own cavatelli's to cook in class or to take home. While the pasta is resting, Chef Laura will show how to make 2 simple gourmet sauces to pair with the fresh pasta, one olive oil based with savory vegetables, and another simple passata red sauce. Chef Laura will then demonstrate how to cook the fresh pasta to the prefect texture, and the class will get to sample & taste the freshly made pasta with both sauces, if desired.  Class will get to take their freshly made raw pasta to cook & enjoy at home. 

Class includes recipes & instructions for all preparations discussed and demonstrated in the class. Classes are fun and educational. Bring your aprons and your appetite's, the classes are full of great things to sample and taste during the event, both the items made in the class and several other tasting items from products available in the store will be available to sample during the class.
